This session is prepared in collaboration with:
- Active Inference Institute (Director, Dr. Daniel Friedman), USA
- Knowledge Pixels (CEO, Dr. Tobias Kuhn), The Netherlands
The aim of this session is to build open source projects within the concept of open innovation. These projects can be of high risk, do not fit into common funding schemes, but can be of high impact.
The preparative online session before the workshop will be organized in the end of October.
The objective of this AI-assisted brainstorming session is to map possible directions, combinations of ideas, methods and all variations of possibilities building on expertise of top scientists in the field. The most valuable outcome could be the development of a comprehensive Roadmap and Ontology of possible research directions. If documented as nanopublications, these can serve as foundational elements for new collaborations and provide a basis for the traceability of generated ideas.
Within the decentralized science (DeSci) framework, collective intelligence through collaborative idea generation facilitates the formation of multidisciplinary Focused Dynamic Research Groups, or Dynamic Research Organizations. These groups are designed to address specific questions or problems by identifying the right partners, necessary equipment, and methods within an ad-hoc created coherent network of collaborators across the boundaries of institutions.
